It’s nice to meet you! I’m Robert Squiers, a Detroit native and U.S. Navy Veteran. My seven years in the Navy leading specialized teams of Sailors and Engineers through nuclear operations aboard our nation’s aircraft carriers instilled in me a sense of duty, teamwork, and an unwavering work ethic focused on achieving exceptional results. Coupled with my subsequent experience at a technology startup, I am adaptable and thrive in dynamic environments.
I’ve had the privilege of working with and developing some of the world’s most advanced technologies, from nuclear reactors to graphene oxide reverse osmosis separation systems. These experiences tested my technical skills while also building experience in project development, manufacturing, financial management, and customer relationships. This wide exposure allows me to approach challenges with a well-rounded perspective.
As a triple Wolverine at the University of Michigan (BS in Mechanical Engineering, MS in Sustainable Systems, and an MBA), I was able to further develop a diverse skillset through product development consulting for a leading healthcare supplier, asset deployment strategies for Walmart, and investment analyses at a venture capital firm. This blend of technical, strategic, and financial expertise has equipped me with a strong foundation for success in driving impactful business outcomes.
When I’m not working, you can find me in Ann Arbor exploring the outdoors with my wife and dog.
